Amy Heidemann, one half of Karmin, gets a new look

Karmin, the duo discovered on YouTube, just got a new look. Female vocalist Amy Heidemann, known for her impressive rapping skills and suicide roll hairstyle, is going to see if blondes really do have more fun. She traded her long brunette locks for a short, blonde ‘do.

The “Hello” singer shared a photo on Facebook debuting her glamorous new look.

The photo garnered mostly positive reactions from fans.

So is her new makeover a reflection of the new music to come?

After hits like “Brokenhearted” and “Hello” and the release of their debut album, Hello in 2012, Heidemann and fiancé Nick Noonan are hard at work on new Karmin music.

“So many songs, I feel like we have 3 albums now…how will we ever choose the songs?!” the duo tweeted on March 26 before adding a few days later, “Recording an album is SO. MUCH. WORK. #LaborOfLove.”

Though there is no word on when their new music will be released, they assure “Karminites,” their fans, that new music will come this year.

“Can’t wait to see you all this year…new songs coming out!”
